My Platform for Inspiration: PINTEREST

Pinterest: the app for all you DIY inspiration and advice. From gym exercises to hairstyles, Pinterest has your back. I’ve been using Pinterest for a couple of years now. I find it’s got the majority of things I’m looking for and it helps me with putting outfits together.

Pinterest allows you to be able to create boards, secret (so nobody steals your ideas) or public, and it also gives suggestions on things you may want to save to a specific board, which I find rather handy when I’m out of ideas and don’t know what else I could search for.

An overview of my pins

Most of my boards are just things I like, such as the interior ones. I believe that there are ways of integrating bits of pins into one.

Another thing I love about Pinterest, is it enables you to create your own pin and link it. For example, you can post an outfit picture on Instagram and create a pin promoting your own account, as well as the outfit, or you can post a recipe on your blog and link you pin to your blog in order to increase the traffic and to share your recipe with others: hopefully you get the gist.

I get a lot of inspiration from Pinterest because it allows me, as an individual, and others to explore the visual elements from the images, suited to everyone’s needs.
